With our high-quality education and research-oriented approach, we rank among the top institutions every year in prestigious international rankings such as Times Higher Education, EngiRank, ShanghaiRanking, URAP, and GreenMetric. We are also one of the few universities with a natural pond on its campus. With more than 100 student clubs, we place great importance on enabling our young people to make the most of their university years. In addition, our students do not experience accommodation problems in Bartın. In fact, there is a state-run student dormitory within our Kutlubey Campus, located quite close to our classrooms.”

On Akit TV’s “Eğitim Atlası” (Education Atlas) program, hosted by Murat Şahin, Rector Akkaya provided information to young people considering BARÜ about the National Technology Workshop, Technopark, the Organized Industrial Zone Vocational School, as well as the 7+1 and 3+1 applied education models, which provide students with valuable professional experience.
