Rector Akkaya Highlights the Richness of the Turkish Language at the “Turcology Summer School”

Bartın University (BARU) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya shared insights on the Turkish language during the Turcology Summer School organized by the Yunus Emre Institute (YEE), which brought together 190 international students from 26 countries.

The Turcology Summer School seminar, held at the Presidential National Library, aimed to deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge of international Turcology students. The program began with an opening lecture by YEE Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cahid Şenel and featured several academic experts in Turcology from different universities.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya delivered a presentation titled “Every Word a Key: Opening New Doors with Turkish.” In his speech, he emphasized that language is not only a means of communication but also a factor that shapes thought and influences our perception of the world.
