Projects of the Bartın University Development and Support Foundation Evaluated

The projects and collaborations planned by the Bartın University Development and Support Foundation were discussed at a meeting attended by Bartın Member of Parliament Yusuf Ziya Aldatmaz.

A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Bartın University Development and Support Foundation, which was established to contribute to the improvement of education, research and practical training opportunities at Bartın University (BARÜ), was held. During the meeting, organised at the Rectorate Senate Hall with the participation of Bartın Member of Parliament Yusuf Ziya Aldatmaz, BARÜ Rector and Foundation Board of Trustees Member Prof. Ahmet Akkaya, and Chair of the Board of Trustees Muhammet Aksoy, projects planned to strengthen the institutional structure of the foundation were evaluated.

The meeting was also attended by Board of Trustees Members Cihat Çakır and Assoc. Prof. Ömer Baykal, Vice Rector Prof. Mehmet Cengiz Karaismailoğlu, Advisor to the Rector Assist. Prof. Özkan Avcı, and Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) Bartın Investment Support Office Coordinator Dr Şahin Baş. The participants discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation between the university and the city, as well as objectives for expanding the support provided to students, particularly through scholarships. They also exchanged views on potential collaborations with various institutions and organisations, especially BAKKA.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the National Technology Workshop and the Animal Life Centre, both of which are currently under construction at the Kutlubey Campus, and received information about the ongoing work.
