Project Team Including BARÜ Students Develops the “ÜNİDES Digital Portal”
5 Mayıs 2026

Students from the Department of Computer Engineering at Bartın University (BARÜ) took part among the developers of the ÜNİDES Digital Portal application, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The ÜNİDES Digital Portal application, developed with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to bring together university student communities and strengthen communication and cooperation among them, has officially been launched. BARÜ students were among the nine university students from across Türkiye selected to take part in the project team. Representing the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, Department of Computer Engineering, Emircan Sazlı, Hamza Ketenci, Ali Kadir Güzel, and Burak Erken contributed to the project through their qualified work, demonstrating the digital production capabilities of young people.

All stages of the ÜNİDES Digital Portal application—from design to server management—were developed entirely by students. The platform was designed as a comprehensive portal where university student communities can introduce themselves and promote the events and projects they organize. The technical leadership and implementation of the project were carried out by BARÜ students. The portal enables student communities operating at different universities to follow each other’s activities and develop joint projects. It also aims to strengthen inter-university interaction through various collaborative initiatives.

BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya met with the students who contributed to the development of the project and congratulated them on their achievement. Emphasizing that BARÜ will continue to support innovative student projects, Rector Akkaya wished the students continued success in their work.
