Outstanding Works Awarded in BİRUS Poster Design Competition

Under the coordination of Bartın University (BARÜ), an award ceremony and exhibition were held for the poster design competition organized within the scope of climate change adaptation and resilience.

The competition, titled “Water in Bartın on World Water Day: Climate Change and the Future of Water Resources”, was organized by BARÜ with the aim of raising environmental awareness and encouraging the protection of water resources. With 187 submissions from 131 individual participants representing 17 different universities, talented young individuals demonstrated their sensitivity towards environmental issues through original poster designs.

Melissa Baysal won first place with her original design, while Ebrar Yılmaz came in second and Başak Ünver placed third. Certificates of achievement were presented to the top 10 participants, while those whose work ranked in the top 20 and were deemed worthy of exhibition received certificates of participation.
