Our University ranks second in "Retail and E-commerce" patent applications

Our University, managing to increase the number of patent applications and registrations every year, ranked second among universities in the field of "Retail and E-commerce" in the ranking where 2020 was evaluated.

In today's world, where the importance of knowledge has been increasing day by day, our University continues to work to raise awareness on patents, utility models, and design issues. It aims to increase the country's competitiveness with R&D and Innovation projects performed by academicians, researchers, and students at our University, where training is offered at certain intervals. In this direction, because of the applications made to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2017-2020, our University has ten registrations and 14 ongoing registration processes.

In the data reflected in the "Turkey's Patent Report-2020" report published by Patentefect, it was stated that the number of patent applications and registrations in Turkey increased every year. Turkey's Patent Champions in Retail and E-commerce", companies and universities were ranked respectively. Our University, continuing its activities with the goal of "sustainable development”, shared the second place among universities in the field of "Retail and E-commerce" with FSM Foundation University.
