Our university student, Polat Polatçı, came second in the world

National athlete Polat Polatçı, a student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of our university, won the silver medal at the 2021 World Youth Wrestling Championship held in Russia.

At the 2021 World Junior Wrestling Championship held in Russia, Polat Polatçı, a student of our University's Faculty of Sports Sciences, came second in the world in freestyle 97 kg. After winning the gold medal at the European Junior Wrestling Championship held in Germany, Polat Polatçı made Turkey's mark with the silver medal with his successful performance at the World Junior Wrestling Championship.
