Minister of National Education, Özer, speaks highly of our University

Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Mahmut Özer who was in Bartın for a series of visits and meetings spoke highly of our university's regional development-oriented studies.

Minister Özer, who visited the Rector's office, was informed about the ongoing studies at our University. Rector Uzun conveyed the scientific studies carried out and continuing at the university and expressed that they aim for a sustainable development focused on regional development in the field of “Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications” specialization.

Expressing that they closely follow the studies carried out within our university, the Minister of National Education Özer praised the scientific studies and achievements of our university.

Minister Özer also addressed the importance of higher education institutions in the development of a city and region and said, “Bartın University achieves important successes with an understanding that prioritizes the region. I congratulate all university staff, especially Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun, at Bartın University, which has covered a significant distance in the past years.”

Noting that they are following the "Children's University" studies of our university with interest, Minister Özer said, "We want to crown the activities of Children's University with Science and Art Centers and develop R&D-based practices in the workshops and laboratories to be established. At this point, I find the development of cooperation between the Provincial Directorate of National Education and Bartın University very valuable.”
