‘Knowledge and Truth’ discussed at BARÜ’s Academic Year Opening Ceremony

Bartın University (BARÜ) held its 2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony with an inaugural lecture titled "Knowledge and Truth," delivered by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci Bostancı, Rector of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
The ceremony took place at the Kutlubey Campus Library Conference Hall with a large turnout. As part of the event, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci Bostancı delivered the opening lecture.

‘The World’s Most Influential Scientists’ Honored on Stage
Following the lecture, 14 BARÜ academics, who earned a spot on Stanford University’s annual list of "The World’s Most Influential Scientists" for their outstanding scientific research and high-impact publications, were invited on stage and presented with certificates of achievement.
Academic Robe Ceremony Held
The event also included BARÜ’s traditional academic robe ceremony, where 78 newly appointed faculty members—15 professors, 25 associate professors, and 38 assistant professors—received their academic robes.
With the participation of local officials and university staff, the 2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony concluded with a group photo.
