Gold medal from BARU student Evin Demirhan Yavuz

Bartin University (BARU) student and national athlete Evin Demirhan Yavuz won a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in Algeria.

Evin Demirhan Yavuz, a student of the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Bartın University (BARU) within the Graduate Education Institute, added another success to her achievements. The national wrestler reached the gold medal at 50 kilograms at Mediterranean Games in Algeria.

Evin Demirhan Yavuz became the finalist by defeating Algerian Ibtissem Doudou, Italian Emanuela Liuzzi, Spanish Aintzane Gorria Goni, and Tunisian Sarra Hamdi. In the final, she defeated French Julie Sabatie and won the gold medal.
