Future energy 'hydrogen' was on the agenda of the event at BARU

During the 2nd Hydrogen Forum held in collaboration with Bartın University (BARU) and Turkish Energy Strategies and Policies Research Center (TESPAM), the energy of the future 'hydrogen' was discussed with the participation of scientists from 8 different universities and representatives from the sector.
 
In the online event, prominent scientists with their scientific studies in the energy field touched on the subject of hydrogen from different perspectives. The 2nd Hydrogen Forum emphasized the use of hydrogen in various areas, including transportation, industry, renewable energy integration, and green chemistry. Evaluations based on strategies that will shape Turkey's future were made in 6 forum sessions, drawing attention to the widespread use of hydrogen in many fields.
 
Speaking at the forum's opening session, Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun, the Rector of Bartin University (BARU), stated that hydrogen, which he discussed within the economic, environmental, and social framework, is a valuable alternative to fossil-based fuels. Oğuzhan Akyener,  the President of the Turkish Energy Strategies and Policies Research Center (TESPAM), defined hydrogen as a clean and highly efficient future energy source and talked about the studies carried out within the center.
 
Prof. Dr. Uğur Çevik, Vice President of Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mining Research Institute (TENMAK) and Head of Technology at TESPAM, highlighted the global trends in hydrogen.
 
The event, which received significant interest throughout the day, concluded after interactive question and answer sessions.
