Dr. Talip Gülle from BARÜ Awarded Prestigious EU Research Fellowship

Dr. Talip Gülle, a faculty member at the Faculty of Education at Bartın University (BARÜ), has been awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF), one of the European Union’s most distinguished research support programs.

Bartın University continues to strengthen its scientific ecosystem through the high-quality research conducted by its qualified scholars. In this context, Dr. Gülle’s project has been selected for funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF), one of the EU’s most prominent programs supporting doctoral-level research. Competing in the EF-SOC (European Fellowship – Social Sciences) category of the 2024 MSCA-PF call, Dr. Gülle was awarded the fellowship with an outstanding score of 97 out of 100, ranking among the top applications out of 1,912 submissions.

As part of the fellowship, Dr. Gülle will conduct his research at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland under the supervision of Professor Tarja Nikula, a leading scholar in the field. His project, entitled "Multilingual and Multimodal Approaches in English-Medium Instruction (EMI) Programs for Developing Disciplinary Literacies" (MultiAP-EMI), will involve a range of analyses aimed at enhancing understanding of language use and pedagogy in multilingual educational contexts.
