“Diyanet Youth Office” Protocol Signed Between BARÜ and Bartın Provincial Mufti’s Office

A “Diyanet Youth Office Cooperation Protocol” has been signed between Bartın University (BARÜ) and the Bartın Provincial Mufti’s Office to support students’ social, cultural, and personal development.
Bartın University (BARÜ) and the Bartın Provincial Mufti’s Office have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at supporting student development. The protocol was signed in the Rectorate Senate Hall by BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and Bartın Provincial Mufti Ömer Keskin.
Within the scope of the protocol, a Diyanet Youth Office will be established at the Student Life Center on the Kutlubey Campus of BARÜ. The office will provide students with spiritual counseling and guidance services. In addition, various activities such as seminars, conferences, and talks will be organized to contribute to students’ social, cultural, and personal development.
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya stated:
“We are pleased to implement an important collaboration that will contribute to the social, cultural, and spiritual development of our youth. Following a preparation process we initiated approximately five months ago, we have taken a significant step toward establishing the Diyanet Youth Office at our University by signing this cooperation protocol with the Bartın Provincial Mufti’s Office. I wish this meaningful collaboration to be beneficial for our University and our city, and I would like to thank everyone involved, especially Bartın Provincial Mufti Ömer Keskin.”
Following the signing ceremony, Rector Akkaya and Mufti Keskin visited the area where the Diyanet Youth Office is planned to be established and conducted on-site inspections.
