Kazakhstani students continuing their education at Bartın University (BARÜ) became champions in the “PANELSAN CUP 2026” volleyball tournament, where students from 16 cities competed.
Kazakhstani students studying at Bartın University (BARÜ) achieve significant rankings through their performance in sporting activities in addition to their academic success. In this context, the BARÜ Women's Volleyball Team most recently succeeded in becoming champions in the “PANELSAN CUP 2026” volleyball tournament, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan to increase unity and solidarity among Kazakhstani students.
In the tournament hosted by Eskişehir Anadolu University, Kazakhstani students continuing their education at universities in 16 provinces of Türkiye competed. The teams, consisting entirely of Kazakhstani students, engaged in a fierce struggle during matches that lasted all day. At the end of the tournament, the BARÜ Women's Volleyball Team managed to lift the first-place trophy with their performance. Thus, as a tournament tradition, BARÜ won the right to host the organization next year.
Expressing the pride he felt for the championship achieved by the students, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya congratulated the Kazakhstani students and expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed.
