National athlete Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, a graduate of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of our university, came third in the World Wrestling Championship women's 72 kg category.

Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, a graduate of our University's Faculty of Sports Sciences, who competed in the World Wrestling Championship held in Oslo, the capital of Norway, won the bronze medal. Competing at 72 kilograms in the championship, the successful athlete managed to defeat Kylie Welker of the USA 8-1 in the first round and Belarusian Anastasiya Zimiankova 4-0 in the quarter-finals, by hitting the button. After the semi-final match, Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu's French rival Cynthia Vanessa Vescan, who competed for the third place, did not play due to injury. National athlete Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu, who was declared the winner by decision, took the third-place podium.
