Buse Tosun, an alumnus of our university, ranks second in Europe

National athlete Buse Tosun, an alumnus of the Faculty of Sport Sciences of our university, was entitled to receive silver medal in the European Wrestling Championships held in Hungary.

News of accomplishments is being received from the Faculty of Sport Sciences of our university, where tens of national athletes pursue their education. At Bartın University, where not only the students but also the alumni continue to notch up victories, Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu has currently achieved a notable success.

Buse advanced to the final by beating Bulgarian Yuliana Vasileva Yaneva 4-3 in the quarter-final, and by beating Romanian Alexandra Nicoleta Anghel 7-1 in the semi-final in the European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Buse, competing in the European championships for the first time, received silver medal after her match with German Anna Carmen Schell.
