Blood donation campaign at BARÜ completed with intense participation

A total of 1,109 units of blood were donated in the blood donation campaign organized in cooperation between Bartın University (BARÜ) and the Turkish Red Crescent (Türk Kızılay).
The blood donation campaign, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent to strengthen social solidarity, has been successfully completed. Within the scope of the campaign carried out with the slogan "There is Life in BARÜ's Blood," tents were set up by the Turkish Red Crescent at the Kutlubey and Ağdacı campuses.
Throughout the event, which saw intense participation from students as well as academic and administrative staff, Turkish Red Crescent officials provided information about the blood donation process and the importance of voluntary donation. BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya also supported the campaign by donating blood. In the campaign, where an important example of social responsibility and volunteerism was displayed, the set target was exceeded. Surpassing the campaign's target of 1,071 units, 1,109 units of blood were donated.
Thus, BARÜ has signed another exemplary work in terms of social responsibility and awareness.
