BARU’s Smart Chat Assistant “ebilge” Registered

Bartın University (BARU) has registered its AI-powered smart chat assistant “BARU-ebilge,” developed to provide easier and faster access to information, with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT).
BARU continues to strengthen its innovative work in education, science, and technology through intellectual property rights. To secure the progress of its AI-based smart assistant “BARU-ebilge,” a patent application was filed by the BARU Patent Coordination Unit. As a result, TÜRKPATENT officially registered “BARU-ebilge” as a software brand offering users 24/7 access to information and guidance.
An Interactive University with “BARU-ebilge”
The smart chat assistant “BARU-ebilge” provides students with digital guidance, answering their questions about BARU’s academic environment, faculties, and departments. Through a “expand” icon on its mini chat window, users can also interact in a larger interface.
Available 24/7, the assistant instantly responds to user queries via real-time messaging. This ensures uninterrupted interaction while speeding up access to accurate and reliable information.
