BARÜ's "ecologically sound" project will contribute to the development of products alternative to plastic

With the project to be carried out in the laboratories of Bartın University (BARÜ), research will be conducted to develop products alternative to plastic, which is considered one of the most important causes of environmental pollution.

The project of Bartın University (BARÜ), where important studies are carried out on the battle against global climate change, has been entitled to receive support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1002-Fast Support Programme. Research will be conducted to develop products alternative to plastic with the project titled "Investigation of Accelerated Outdoor Environment and Biodegradation Behaviours of Cellulose Nanocrystal Added Polyhydroxybutyrate Composites", led by Prof. Dr. Deniz Aydemir from BARÜ Faculty of Forestry.
