BARU’s Area Designated as a “Technology Development Zone”

The Technopark area designated within Bartın University (BARU) Ağdacı Campus has been officially recognized as a “Technology Development Zone” following the decision published in the Official Gazette.
The “Technopark” project, set to further advance university–industry collaboration within BARU and enable entrepreneurs to develop new projects, is now underway. Most recently, with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and in accordance with Law No. 4691 on Technology Development Zones, the decision dated 9 July 2025 and published in the Official Gazette declared the area at Ağdacı Campus as the BARU Technology Development Zone.
From Science to Enterprise: BARU Technopark
With BARU Technopark officially gaining its status, a new chapter will begin for this significant center aimed at supporting Türkiye’s technological and innovative projects. Plans will be made to carry out research and development, as well as knowledge and technology transfer activities, through a modern and well-equipped infrastructure. In addition, once the building is completed, efforts will focus on integrating the latest technologies.
