BARÜ Receives the “TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Award”

Dr. Şeyma Çağlar Özhan, a faculty member from Bartın University (BARÜ), received the “TÜBA-TEKNOFEST Doctoral Science Award” from the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, during a ceremony held as part of TEKNOFEST Mediterranean.

At the Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) Mediterranean, where aviation, space, and technology enthusiasts come together, Bartın University (BARÜ) returns with an award. Dr. Şeyma Çağlar Özhan’s thesis, titled “Examining the Interaction of Trainee Teachers' Executive Function Skills with Discrete Emotions in a Computer Simulation Environment,” completed under the Hacettepe University Institute of Educational Sciences, won third place in the field of Social and Human Sciences. The award was presented to Dr. Özhan by Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır.

The ceremony, which evaluated and awarded doctoral theses produced in Turkey with unique thematic topics, was attended by Minister Kacır, Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger, TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şeker, TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, and BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun.
