BARÜ reached a record number of individuals through face-to-face and digital guidance applications.

Bartın University (BARÜ) continued its programs and career introductions spread over 12 months during the preference period, reaching a record number of individuals in guidance activities for prospective students and their families.

During the academic period, hundreds of people from different cities were hosted, and events such as school visits and professional introductions were organized at Bartın University (BARÜ), bringing together students and teachers through activities like "Career Days" and "R&D Project Market" following the YKS exams. With the announcement of YKS results and the subsequent entry into the preference period, BARÜ provided information on correct choices and career counseling through face-to-face and digital channels.

Social media posts, which began before the preference period and gained momentum during the preference period, conveyed the topics of interest to prospective students. Shares providing information on the educational process and employment opportunities of programs in 9 faculties, 1 vocational school, and 3 vocational high schools reached thousands of people. From July to the last day of preferences on August 8, BARÜ achieved access numbers of 234,186 on Twitter, 92,714 on Facebook, and 410,162 on Instagram through official accounts. Additionally, 1,784 questions received on the Whatsapp Communication Line were promptly addressed.

Furthermore, BARÜ entered the top-ranking brands on Twitter in the BoomSocial August 2023 index published by the social media brand index SocialBrands, securing the 12th position among state universities.
