BARÜ Wrestler Umut Erdoğan Wins Bronze Medal at European Championship

Umut Erdoğan, a student at the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Bartın University (BARÜ), won the bronze medal in the men’s 70 kg freestyle category at the U23 European Wrestling Championship.

Students from the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Bartın University (BARÜ) continue to achieve new successes in international competitions. Most recently, Umut Erdoğan, a student in the Coaching Education Department, won a bronze medal in the 70 kg freestyle category at the U23 European Wrestling Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

In the bronze medal match of the men's freestyle category, the national athlete defeated his Moldovan opponent Pavel Graur 5–1, securing third place in Europe.
