BARÜ Welcomes Visitors at “Bartın Promotion Days”

Bartın University (BARÜ) is presenting its education, teaching, research and development activities to visitors at the “Bartın Promotion Days” held in Istanbul.
Organised in cooperation with the Governorship of Bartın and the Federation of Bartın Associations (BARFED) to promote Bartın’s cultural, natural, economic and tourism assets, the “Bartın Promotion Days” have begun. Rector of Bartın University (BARÜ), Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, also attended the opening ceremony of the event, which is held at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport National Garden Event Area.
Taking part in the event with its own stand, BARÜ welcomed visitors on the first day of the Bartın Promotion Days. At the stand, which attracted considerable attention, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz Karaismailoğlu, together with academic and administrative staff from various units of the University, introduced visitors to the activities carried out at BARÜ. Visitors were also informed about the University’s education and teaching activities, academic programmes, research infrastructure, and national and international projects. Information was provided on BARÜ’s initiatives aimed at regional development, as well as the projects implemented within the scope of its specialisation area, “Smart Logistics and Integrated Regional Applications.”
Prospective students and their families also had the opportunity to receive information about the educational opportunities, social, cultural and sporting facilities, and campus life offered at BARÜ.
As part of the “Bartın Promotion Days,” the BARÜ stand will continue to welcome visitors until 5 July.
