BARU Welcomes New Students at Bus Terminal

Bartın University (BARU) welcomed students arriving from different provinces across Türkiye for the new academic year at the bus terminal, providing them with information on matters they were curious about regarding the University and the city of Bartın.
Bartın University (BARU) welcomed students and their families arriving in the city for the start of the 2026-2027 academic year at the Bartın Intercity Bus Terminal and Kutlubey Campus. As part of the welcome program, organized under the coordination of the Student Affairs Department, the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports, and the Career Planning Research & Application Center, information stands were set up at the bus terminal starting in the morning hours.
At the stands, staff members answered students’ questions about university life and the city of Bartın, while shuttle vehicles provided by the University transported newly arrived students to their dormitories.
BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yafes Yıldız also attended the welcome program, meeting with students and their families and extending their warm welcome.
Emphasizing the importance of helping students adapt to university life and the city of Bartın, Rector Akkaya stated that the University continues its efforts to ensure that students enjoy a peaceful, safe, and productive educational experience.
