14 Ağustos 2025
Prospective students and their families were provided with guidance by expert academics during the “Promotion and Preference Days” organised by Bartın University (BARÜ).

Bartın University (BARÜ) supported students and their families who were preparing to make university choices through its “Promotion and Preference Days.” At the stands set up on Bartın Hükümet Street between 1–13 August, expert academics provided information to help students make informed decisions and plan their careers effectively.

Throughout the preference period, prospective students were introduced to the programmes offered at BARÜ’s 9 faculties, one school, three vocational schools, and the Graduate School. Detailed information was also provided about course contents, double major and minor opportunities, the workplace training model, international study and internship opportunities, and campus life.

During the “Promotion and Preference Days,” students also received one-on-one preference counselling from the Career Planning, Application and Research Center and the Department of Student Affairs. The event attracted great interest from students and their families, who visited the stands and received guidance on the factors they should consider when preparing their preference lists.

As part of the event, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sabri Gök visited the stands and met with prospective students and their families. Speaking with students who were about to make their university preferences, Rector Akkaya wished them success and invited them to join the BARÜ family.
