BARÜ Students Gathered at Iftar Tables Throughout Ramadan

Thousands of students came together to share iftar meals during the “Traditional Iftar Gatherings” organized through the collaboration of Bartın University (BARÜ), various institutions, organizations, and benefactors.
As part of the traditional iftar events organized by Bartın University (BARÜ), thousands of students broke their fast together at the same table throughout the month of Ramadan. The iftar programs were held at the Kutlubey and Ağdacı Campuses in cooperation with benefactor Zübeyde Omurca; Çetin Et ve Hayvancılık; Bi Elma Teknoloji; ETİSAN; the Bartın Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (Bartın MÜSİAD); Desay Turizm; Öztem Defne; Söylemez Kauçuk Otomotiv Sanayi; the Türkiye Youth Foundation (TÜGVA); Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Bartın TSO); Bartın Madeni Eşya Ticaret A.Ş. (MADEŞ); the Turkish Red Crescent Bartın Branch; Drahna Environment, Development, Education, Culture and Solidarity Association; and the Wiesbaden Turkish Youth and Culture Association.
In addition, staff from various academic units—including the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Bartın Vocational School, Bartın Vocational School of Health Services, Ulus Vocational School, and the School of Foreign Languages—also contributed to the free iftar programs organized this year.
With strong student participation, the iftar programs were also attended by BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and local officials, who came together with students. Through this organization, the spirit of unity and solidarity of Ramadan was kept alive at the iftar tables.
Rector Akkaya expressed his gratitude to all institutions, organizations, and benefactors who provided free iftar support throughout Ramadan in order to strengthen the culture of solidarity and sharing among students.
