BARÜ signs new educational cooperation agreements in Romania

Bartın University (BARÜ) carried out various contacts in Romania to develop international collaborations in the fields of education, training, and research.

In line with its internationalization vision, Bartın University (BARÜ) continues to develop academic collaborations on a global scale. Within this scope, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya took significant steps to strengthen the university's international education network by conducting various meetings in Romania. He was accompanied by İbrahim Taşel, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Final University in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Member of the Presidential Education and Instruction Policies Board; Prof. Dr. Kenan Peker, Rector of Munzur University; and Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Rector of Fırat University.

A cooperation protocol was signed between BARÜ and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, one of Romania's most prestigious higher education institutions in the fields of business and economics. During the meetings held between Rector Akkaya and Prof. Dr. Nicolae Istudor, the Rector of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, views were exchanged on student and staff exchange programs and joint projects that could be carried out in different fields.

Rector Akkaya stated that the collaborations carried out provide significant contributions to BARÜ's international visibility and expressed that they will increase academic and cultural interaction on a global scale.
