BARU members made us proud at the European Wrestling Championship

Bartın University (BARU) Faculty of Sports Sciences students and graduates brought one gold, one silver and two bronze medals to our country in the European Wrestling Championship held in Croatia.

Bartın University (BARÜ) left its mark on the European Wrestling Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. In the organization where our Greco-Roman Wrestling National Team became the European Champion with 155 points, and our Women's National Wrestling Team came in second in Europe with 136 points, BARÜ athletes contributed significantly to the results they received.

Evin Demirhan Yavuz, a student of BARU Graduate Education Institute, Department of Physical Education and Sports, won the bronze medal in the 50 kg category; Burhan Akbudak, alumni of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, won the gold medal in the 82 kilos, Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu in the 72 kilos silver and Zeynep Yetgil in the 53 kilos bronze medals.
