BARU graduate Zeynep Yetgil became the European Champion

National athlete Zeynep Yetgil, a graduate of Bartın University (BARU) Faculty of Sports Sciences, became the European Champion in the women's 53 kg category at the U23 European Wrestling Championship.

National athlete Zeynep Yetgil, a graduate of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Bartın University (BARU), competing in the U23 European Wrestling Championship held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, won the gold medal. Competing in the women's 53 kg category, Zeynep Yetgil passed the French Chadia Ayachi in the quarter-finals and the Azerbaijani Gultakin Shirinova in the semi-finals and advanced to the finals. Zeynep Yetgil, who defeated Ukrainian Liliia Malanchuk 9-4 in the final, became the European Champion.
