BARU Expands Its Global Education Network Through Erasmus+

In line with its internationalization efforts, Bartın University (BARU) aims to expand its Erasmus+ collaborations, which currently include 23 countries over the past three years, by adding 22 new partner universities from 16 different countries in 2025.

Bartın University continues its efforts to enable students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to engage with different cultures and gain competencies at the international level. In this context, the university has completed the application process for the Erasmus+ Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility program (KA171-HED), supported by External Action Funds and coordinated by the Turkish National Agency.

BARU initially established partnerships with 6 countries in 2022, followed by collaborations with 11 countries in 2023, and 6 more in 2024. For 2025, the university has submitted an application involving 22 universities from 16 countries to the Turkish National Agency. Having received approximately 265,000 Euros in grants since 2022, BARU aims to increase its financial support under the Erasmus+ KA171 program through its latest application.
