Through a TÜBİTAK-supported project, Bartın University (BARÜ) is collaborating with Sorbonne University in France to develop significantly more effective methods in reproductive health compared to current treatments.

The project, submitted by Dr. Ferhat Sadak from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design at Bartın University, has been awarded support under the 2509 TÜBİTAK–French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bilateral Cooperation Program (Bosphorus). Titled 3D Force Spectroscopy Supported by Event Camera Using Optical Microrobot and Deep Learning,” the study is among eight international projects selected for support nationwide.

As the project’s principal investigator in Turkey, Dr. Ferhat Sadak will collaborate with Prof. Sinan Haliyo from Sorbonne University, the principal investigator in France, to examine the mechanical properties of biological cells and conduct three-dimensional force measurements. Utilizing advanced methodologies, the project will enable real-time observation and analysis of cellular behaviour through the integration of deep learning technologies and event-based cameras.
