BARU "Academic Performance Awards" found their owners.

"Academic Performance Award Ceremony" organised within the scope of Bartın University (BARÜ) 6th R&D Project Market was held with the participation of TR MOTOR General Manager Prof. Dr. Osman Saim Dinç.

"Academic Performance Award Ceremony" was organised within the scope of the 6th R&D Project Market at Bartın University (BARU), which is among the fastest-rising higher education institutions in Turkey with its achievements. Speaking at the opening of the ceremony where academicians who stood out with their work in 2022 were awarded, BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun said, "We are happy that although we are a young university that has completed 15 years, we have achieved and continue to achieve very important achievements as a result of the high efforts of our academicians."

After Rector Uzun's speech, TR Motor General Manager Prof. Dr. Osman Saim Dinç took the floor and said, "Bartın University has spread the project culture to all segments in Bartın. I would like to congratulate those who contributed to the efforts of our esteemed Rector for spreading this culture to everyone, starting from young students, high school, undergraduate and general".

In the next part of the ceremony, the academicians who contributed to the success of BARU, which ranked high in the world university rankings, were also entitled to receive achievement awards as a result of the evaluations made with various criteria. Academics who showed outstanding academic performance in Academic Performance Awards were awarded in 4 different categories: diamond, gold, silver, and bronze.

In addition, certificates of achievement in the 'Project and Innovation' categories were presented to the academic staff who carried out the projects supported by external funds in 2022 and whose works were registered and patented in the process from idea to product.

At the ceremony, 11 academicians who were included in the list of the world's most influential scientists, prepared annually by Stanford University, were called to the stage and presented certificates of achievement.
