Bartın’s July 15 Martyr Mustafa Yaman Commemorated with Prayers

As part of the program held in Bartın on Democracy and National Unity Day on July 15, prayers were offered at the grave of July 15 martyr Mustafa Yaman and at the Bartın Martyrs’ Cemetery.

During the events organized in Bartın to mark the 10th anniversary of Democracy and National Unity Day on July 15, the martyrs were commemorated with mercy, gratitude, and prayers. The commemoration ceremonies were attended by Bartın Governor Dr. Nurtaç Arslan, Bartın University (BARÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, members of the provincial protocol, and citizens. The program began with a visit to the grave of Mustafa Yaman, the imam of the Martyrs’ Mosque, who was martyred in the attack targeting the Special Operations Department Headquarters in Gölbaşı, Ankara, during the treacherous coup attempt of July 15. Following the recitation of the Mawlid in Çubuklu village of Ulus district, prayers were offered for Mustafa Yaman, and roses were placed on his grave. As part of the program, the martyr’s family was also visited.

The commemoration program continued at the Bartın Martyrs’ Cemetery. Following the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, roses were placed on the graves of the martyrs accompanied by prayers. During the ceremony, the nation's esteemed martyrs were remembered with mercy and gratitude, and messages of unity and solidarity were conveyed.
