Bartın University Recognized Among the World’s Best in Two Disciplines in the 2024 ShanghaiRanking GRAS

Bartın University (BARÜ) has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked among the world’s top institutions in two subject areas in the 2024 edition of the ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). The university was placed in the 201–300 range globally in “Civil Engineering” and in the 401–500 range in “Education.”
The GRAS, one of the most comprehensive global indices evaluating higher education institutions based on their academic contributions in specific fields, assessed over 1,900 universities from 96 countries in its 2024 edition. According to the results, Bartın University secured its position in the 201–300 band in “Civil Engineering” and in the 401–500 band in “Education,” marking a notable achievement on the global stage.
Among Turkish institutions included in the ranking, BARÜ ranked 2nd in the field of “Civil Engineering” and shared the 3rd position in “Education” alongside two other Turkish universities listed in the 401–500 band.
