Bartın University left 4,181 universities behind in 5 years

According to the Webometrics Ranking of Universities, Bartın University has managed to surpass 4,181 universities in 5 years.

The achievements of Bartın University, which aims for a sustainable development focused on quality, are also reflected in the reports of international ranking institutions. Finally, there has been a significant increase in the data reflected in the Webometrics World University Rankings, which evaluates higher education institutions in the world on the basis of visibility, openness and excellence indicators. Bartın University ranked 2,856 among 31 thousand higher education institutions evaluated in more than 200 countries in the January 2022 ranking, in which the past year is evaluated. Ranking 7,377 in 2017, Bartın University has thus surpassed 4,181 higher education institutions in the world, which were considered worth ranking in 5 years.

Bartın University ranks 7,777th in the visibility (web content) indicator, 1,821st in the openness (most cited researchers) indicator, and 2 thousand 644th in excellence (number of articles published in the 5-year period between 2016-2020 which were mostly cited 27 disciplines and fell within 10 percent slice). Bartın University also ranked 83rd among the 212 higher education institutions in Turkey.
