Bartın University and Turkish Wushu Kung Fu Federation Sign Cooperation Protocol

Bartın University (BARÜ) and the Turkish Wushu Kung Fu Federation have signed a cooperation protocol titled the “Disaster and Emergency Response Cooperation Protocol.”
The protocol, covering collaboration in the fields of disaster and emergency response, was signed by BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and President of the Turkish Wushu Kung Fu Federation Abdurrahman Akyüz. Within the scope of the agreement, the parties aim to support efforts carried out in disaster and emergency response processes under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), while also strengthening awareness of volunteerism and social solidarity. The initiative includes plans to enhance disaster awareness among students and athletes through both theoretical and practical training programs.
Emphasizing that the signed protocol will contribute to strengthening social responsibility awareness, Rector Akkaya thanked President Abdurrahman Akyüz and all those involved for their cooperation and contributions.
