Academic Cooperation Between BARÜ and Azerbaijan Is Being Strengthened

Bartın University (BARÜ) was visited by representatives from Baku State University in Azerbaijan to enhance cooperation in education and scientific activities.
Bartın University (BARÜ) continues to host scholars from different countries to strengthen global partnerships in education and research. In this context, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alemdar Cabbarlı, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Documentation Management at Baku State University, visited BARÜ.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cabbarlı first met with BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, where they exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation. The meeting, also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Altay, Head of the Department of Information and Records Management at BARÜ’s Faculty of Letters, included discussions on potential joint initiatives in the field of information and records management. During the meeting, ideas were also shared on expanding academic exchange programmes, educational collaborations, joint projects, and scientific research activities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cabbarlı thanked Rector Akkaya for his warm hospitality and expressed his satisfaction with the prospect of developing joint academic events and projects.
Rector Akkaya stated that BARÜ will continue to expand its collaborations within the framework of its internationalization strategies and thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alemdar Cabbarlı for his visit and interest.
