A significant step from BARÜ: “Bartın University Development and Support Foundation” established

Bartın University (BARÜ) aims to provide sustainable contributions in many fields, from education to research, through the “Bartın University Development and Support Foundation,” established to support its academic, scientific, and social development.
A significant work has been carried out at Bartın University (BARÜ) to support the development of education, research, and application opportunities by making institutional progress sustainable. Upon completion of the necessary official processes, the “Bartın University Development and Support Foundation” was established under the General Directorate of Foundations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The Bartın University Development and Support Foundation will carry out important activities aimed at supporting the educational processes of successful students, increasing research activities, developing technological infrastructure, and expanding the institution's application areas. With the established foundation, it is aimed to strengthen the support mechanisms for BARÜ’s academic, scientific, and social development.
Along with the establishment of the foundation, its unique logo reflecting its institutional identity was also prepared. Designed to ensure integrity with BARÜ's visual identity elements, the logo combines the understanding of achieving together, the continuity of scientific production, and social solidarity in a symbolic language.
Evaluating the foundation, BARÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya stated:
“Every support for education is highly significant. This foundation will support the dreams of our dear students, pave the way for the innovative research of our valuable academics, and further strengthen our bond with our city. I believe that this initiative will be one of the most important milestones that will carry our University to many successes. I hope this meaningful journey will be beneficial to our University, our Bartın, and our nation, and I thank everyone who contributed.”
