A New Patent from Our University

The invention entitled "Position and Force Controlled Multi-Disc Tribometre," developed by the faculty members of our University, was entitled to be patented at the end of the research and examination processes.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Aktan, who works in the Faculty of Engineering in the Department of Architecture and Design Mechatronics Engineering, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Hilal Yılmaz, who works in  the Faculty of  Science in the Department of Biotechnology, made a joint invention which was patented by Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT). The invention, named "Position and Force Controlled Multi-Disc Tribometer", was developed to create a mouth simulation to investigate the oral process of liquid and semi-solid food products.
