A new method for the common health problem will be tried with the BARU project

With the project of Bartın University (BARÜ), first studies will be carried out in Turkey with a new method for the healing of pressure sores, which is a common health problem in patients with limited mobility and circulation problems.

The project, led by Özge Uçar, Research Assistant of Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Sciences of Bartın University (BARU),  has been deemed worthy of support by the Presidency of Turkish Health Institutes (TÜSEB). The first research in Turkey in this field will be carried out with the project titled "The Effect of Dressings Made with Topical Hemoglobin in Pressure Wound Care on Wound Healing and Cost" prepared within the scope of TUSEB Group A Emergency R&D Project Support Program. 

In the project carried out under the consultancy of Prof. Dr. Arzu İlçe,  Lecturer of Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Dr. Mustafa Canbaz, Intensive Care Specialist Specialist from Bartın State Hospital, will also take part.
