6 Golden Medals to Our University in the Europe Wushu Championship

At Bartın University, the students from the faculty of sports achieved to take 6 golden medals from Europe Wushu Championship.

New successes continue from the Faculty of Sports Science which many national athletes in diverse skills have education. Not only students but also graduates thrive at Bartın University and lastly Zeynep Makbule Akyüz and Dursun Ali Çapoğlu grabbed a slice of history.

1000 students from 13 countries attended to Europe Wushu Championship which takes place in Burgaz, Bulgaria and Zeynep Makbule Akyüz got the gold medal in the branches of Baguzhang, Opsiyonel Gunshu, Duilian and Jiti Zeynep Makbule Akyüz. Dursun Ali Çapoğlu got the golden medal from the branch of Baijiquan and Jiti. Turkey is the one which takes most medals with 103 golden, 62 silver and 24 bronze medals in the whole tournament.
