Turkey’s Pride Projects Presented at the 7th International R&D Project Market

Presentations on domestic and national technologies attracted great interest at the festival organized by Bartın University (BARÜ), which brought together young researchers and prominent industry representatives.
 
On the second day of the region's longest-running science and technology festival, presentations were made by leading organizations from the technology and defence industries in various sessions.
 
First, Anıl Selam, R&D Lead Engineer at Roketsan, shared the work of Roketsan, one of Turkey’s pioneering organizations in missile and ammunition systems, which form the country's defence power, in his presentation titled “Our Innovative Products and R&D Activities.”
 
Anıl Okan, Technical Engineer at Havelsan, in his presentation “An Overview of Havelsan Products and R&D Activities,” stated that they have a wide portfolio of products, especially for the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as public institutions and civilian sectors.

Altan Akyol, R&D and Innovation Director at Türksat, talked about the domestic, national, and innovative solutions developed for satellite and communication activities, emphasizing the importance of localization and nationalization in terms of communication security.

Finally, in the morning session, Selim Sancı, Chief Engineer at Aselsan, discussed the company’s work in the defence industry, revealing that it has transferred technology to 88 countries.
 
In the afternoon session, Abdurrahman Keklik, Chairman of ComPro Group, in his talk titled “Quantum and Computers,” emphasized the need to adapt digital infrastructure security systems and data processing methods to the modern era.
